At PD we start out thinking all n00bs are retards in the hope it will eliminate their urge to actually prove they are.

I think the problem is that he(?) is using the traditional calendar to try to understand the Discordian calendar.

That because the Discordian calendar doesn't have 7 day weeks there are no weeks.  When of course the more obvious answer is, well duh, the weeks are 5 days.  And that means there aren't 52 weeks, there are 73.  It's just different math, is all. 

Thanks for clearing it up, again. So how there's still 24  hours in a day?
And yeah, I did use the gregorian.

Because while the Discordian Calendar is neat, it wasn't so ground breaking that it altered the Earth's rotation on its axis. 

For a while (incidentally around when I first arrived here) I managed my work (self-unemployed, if you will) using that calendar, and set a couple of arbitrary no-work and no-paid-work days for myself... The rhythm of it was actually way more natural to me than the 7-day rhythm, but it turned out it was impractical to live on a separate calendar from the rest of the world (duhhh)

Living on both calendars works quite well. I can't do what you did, though, because I'm just a simple school child, y'know.

I've run into a problem. Do any of you guys know of a free program that can import Windows Media stuff, and export a mix as an MP3? I tried every free converter for the files I could think of, but nothing worked.

also, about planting stuff into patterns, I think a whila ago I read in O:MF an idea to plant thicker, longer grass in letters or shapes in grass fields. Takes a few weeks before it appears, but after that it's incredibly hard to remove, even for years to follow. It's probably also considered vandalism on public property.

Wait, how do you do that? Just more grass seed, or do you mean a different kind of grass?

I've just been using GIMP, since it's a smaller download than any Photoshop torrent is gonna be. I would like to have Flash, though, since vector looks a helluvalot nicer...Any good torrents you guys know of? Or is that not something we post links to on this forum?

Heh. I'm not sure about types, or whether or not the few I've got planted are going to survive long enough to actually sprout up. I should get some bulbs, they pretty much survive on their own, it seems. My mom's got a bunch of them, and without ever watering them, they all manage to sprout up every year.
