How do you directly measure carbon output from a combustible source?

Twid,
Twidsister needs a science project, Twid has a lump of turf from Ireland

without already having one or blowing hundreds of moneys on a sensor/detector,

-measure mass, burn, measure remaining mass
doesn't differentiate between the non-carbon products, pyrolysis, etc., but you could explain that with other sciencing

observation and exploration

I learned how to use PCs by watching somebody else do it first, then just dicking around on them. I don't program anything so I never bothered with in-depth study of computers

A year or so ago, I bought the wife a thousand dollar web browser a Mac, and had to look for help on anything more complicated than the internet and double clicking (actually getting to a program's file and contents on a Mac is not intuitive)

Looks like a moderately severe allergic reaction to insect bits (or maybe fleas of some sort)

If Benadryl alone doesn't help, try pepcid (famotidine) along with it

Pretty sure he already had an actual diagnosis from one of them high-falutin' "doctors".

apologies, typed my reply from my phone, didn't see the past day's worth of posts

I've been informed by the people that have married into my family that "not talking simply because there's nothing to talk about" is not an excuse for silence when around people (which is implied to be a bad thing.)

They say I should attempt to make "friendly, casual conversation," even if I don 't know the people around me, have a dislike for the people around me, or just simply don't want to talk at that moment.

Some of my favorite days are when the wife is working late, and I can turn off TV, go outside to smoke and not have to listen to anything coherent for a few hours

The Catholic Church has been having large doctrinal issues in North America for years - Jesuits and Nuns feature heavily in these issues.

But beyond writing little declarations of "ur doin it rong", they don't actually really care.  All the real work is going on in Africa, and the African Catholics are far more socially conservative.  Prospects for conversion are better too, so while American Catholics agitate around the margins, the Vatican will stack the deck with African bishops and cardinals.

Game, set and match.
It's a smart investment on their part; if they are continuously and successfully convincing people in Africa to not use BC then they technically just have to wait until the adherent populations and tithing revenues catch up to amounts elsewhere in the world, then the Vatican can really start to not give  two shakes of a thorny crown what the Americas do.
