A mod that publishes users PI is kind of a Bad Idea. Especially because the board owner is legally liable for that.

Mods who spout racism and misogyny are also bad ideas if the plan is to have a user base of intelligent people who can carry a conversation.

But that's not really Easy-E's decision to make, it sounds like. Whoever owns the board has decided that's what he wants it to be like.

I don't think GP is the board owner.

Idio started totse2 with mikehunt1 and mike left and idio took a leave of absence so everything was transferred over to my name.  I spend a lot of money to keep it up and people keep trying to ruin it.  I talked to GP and we couldn't find any of the PI posted on the board but I'm talking to fang about it.  I've actually been working on your suggestion about letting certain people view IP addresses.  I have it mostly under control but vBulletin sucks as far as mod privileged go.  GP isn't an admin but he as access to everything including the server so he helps idio and I when we aren't online.

As for the racism shit there was a ton of that on &totse and I don't like it but it's easier to ignore it than to try to fight with people about it.

A few of us know each other offline but as with most online communities they get cliquey after chatting for a few years.  You guys seem pretty tight nit too.

As for the members at totse2 I can't say I read all of their posts and agree with that they say.  Sometimes it's just easier to take a hands off approach and only post in threads that are interesting to you.

Haha, that's how it works.  We rent a VPS but our ram kept maxing out.  vBulletin is a hog on CPU and RAM.

I've been floating the idea of getting a business internet line and building my own little datacenter.  If totse2 doubles in size it would pay itself off in about a year verses renting a second server.
