I like the Luna one. She is a good one.

WTF?

I would have gone slap off on them.  Gotten into the whole bailout thing and just run with it from there.  By the time I was done they would either be crying for their mommy or pressing charges  :lulz:

What did you say to them?

Also, Phox has a point, but I wouldn't see any their taking the time for such a charade in a regular neighborhood.  RWHN are you independently wealthy with walls covered in fine art and floors covered with old orientals?

This.
- So the New World Order does not actually exist?
- Oh it exists, and how!
Ask the slaves whose labour built the White House;
Ask the slaves of today tied down to sweatshops and brothels to escape hunger;
Ask most women, second class citizens, in a pervasive rape culture;
Ask the non-human creatures who inhabit the planet:
whales, bears, frogs, tuna, bees, slaughtered farm animals;
Ask the natives of the Americas and Australia on whose land
you live today, on whose graves your factories, farms and neighbourhoods stand;
ask any of them this, ask them if the New World Order is true;
they'll tell you plainly: the New World Order... is you!

I still say that is a lot of effort for your typical middle class neighborhood.

I think RWHN has been holding out on us and our invitations to the mansion so we can swim in the cement pond....  :argh!:

Oh man, there is a very politically incorrect joke there.

But I just listened to their shpeel.  Actually, they were pretty nice.  It was an old guy and a young guy.  The young guy was very robotic, running off boilerplate finance speek.  The older guy figured it out pretty quickly that I wasn't some random, dumb schmuck and quickly turned the conversation to my work and about how awesome I am, asset to the community, blah, blah, blah.  So it basically ended up being mostly a bunch of small talk and then they were on their way.

It was just kind of weird.

Well, actually, my neighborhood does have some pretty nice houses and people who are obviously pulling in some decent bank.  (well the houses that still have people living in them, that is).  But we live in a pretty standard ranch.  There isn't anything that screams, "we got money".

Probably as soon as they figured out it worked. I also get people wanting donations. I don't mind giving once, but I'm not giving them access to my bank account...
