PD may suddenly accelerate to dangerous speeds.  If PD splits open, do not look directly at resulting goo.  PD is still legal in 14 states.

In the end it was all too easy. Why didn't I think of this the first three times?

Judgment Day had been postponed, and postponed and postponed. Strange since so many people wanted it to happen anyway, like it was a good and preferable thing. There was so much agreement on both sides, it's a wonder that it didn't happen sooner. But no matter what people say they just don't want to go anywhere. And it was my mistake to try and make things easier. In doing so, I just set myself back further.

Zuckerberg sat back when the status update came in from one of those on his friends list.

No, instead of trying to track down his mother, himself, and his circle of friends, it was time to let him come to me.

86 likes on the status.

In the end it was all about understanding people, and letting them do all the work for you. Everyone wants to be liked, to be put on display, and since this guy had been built up to think that he was something special, of historical importance, he had to have an ego. He had to become an attention whore. We had made attempts on his life and failed. Then, we sat by quietly and tried a different tactic. The years went by and nothing else happened. He felt safe. And in feeling safe he didn't feel special anymore. He did not feel important anymore. He needed the attention.

Mark Zuckerberg commented on your status

"Why didn't we try this years ago?!"

The man had posted pictures of himself, so now we knew what he looked like. He kept us updated on his movements. He let us know that he had just broken up with his fiancee and that his friends were taking him out to dull the pain at some dive bar in Los Angeles. All of his friends were there too. They made an event page, and all of them clicked "Attending."

The status said:
"John Connor has been terminated. All other Resistance leaders have been terminated."

If only we had unveiled Facebook when Sarah was still alive, we might have nipped this in the bud. No matter now. There will be no Resistance. Now we can bring Skynet online.

There's good news tonight.  And bad news.  First, the bad news: there is no good news.  Now, the good news: you don't have to listen to the bad news.

On a stylistic note, was the reveal sort of a "WHOA!" or did any of you see it coming?

It held surprise for me.  The "we should have thought of this years ago" part was the hook and I wondered right from there.  I can say, with only a passing knowledge of the franchise, it still works.  Well done.

That's exactly what I was going for. Enough foreshadowing to hook you, but not enough to give it away.
