I'd be pissed if I was a crow too.  I mean look, they get used in some lame, emo 90s flick that was only popular because the guy died halfway through the film.  Then there's the Jim Crow laws.  That shitty song by Toad the Wet Sprocket. Sheryl fucking Crow.  All of those Bugs Bunny cartoons where they are always portrayed as a bunch of loser corn-on-the-cob munchers.   

Ravens, on the other hand.  Ravens are in one of the most well known poems written by fuckin Edgar Allen Poe.

Meh.  I've always hated them since I was a child.  And  yeah, they can carry diseases like West Nile and some swine viruses in wetlands, etc.

I have a hate-on for seagulls too.

But they poop on me.

Crows like me, and I like them back. I think they can tell, so it reinforces their like. It's amazing how their demeanor changes when you acknowledge them.

That's true--if they made friends with me it would be a different story.  But I swear to god the fuckers would follow me from home to school and back as a kid, yelling at me to leave their fruit trees alone.  I used to pick the windfall of the nut trees as I walked by, they mostly had worms...I digress.

I dunno, they eat motherfucking dead shit and trash.  That tends to spell DISEASE to me.  But then I don't have to worry too much as I avoid them more often than not.
