Oh, an update. I found this story earlier, but they weren't entirely certain yet that it was asphyxia, only saying for sure that he had suffered a kodiak arrest.

nope, he's right.  steering the puns in unconnected and arbitrary directions really seems to take the steam out of it.   :sad:

on topic, the article said that he had a 'metallic sphere' on his head?  i've never heard of this particular kink.  is this familiar to anyone else?

I agree.  The punning wouldn't be so bad if there was 1-3 puns in a row.  When it's page after page of recycled puns, it gets old.  I really wish I hadn't given into temptation on the "ursoid" bit.  I should have known better.
