I want to sign up for a @principiadiscordia.com e-mail, but I'm not sure which name i want to use. Decide my future, chaospags.

Who would you rather meet in person? Dimo, Cuddlefish or otherwise?

It's probably best to ask Faust for all three, you can just redirect them to a single one. Sure, you'll be hogging all the really good email address names and the future person signing up as Cuddlefish is going to be in a tough spot if she wants an email address, and there will be tears because she chose the name after her favourite childhood stuffed toy a tuna with really cute goggly eyes and a moustache that got lost during a tragic episode when her doll-house got dimolished by neighbourhood bullies that had a rather different idea about the meaning of a "tea party".

Not really...  I had a piece started on names we use, and that other people use for us, but it never went anywhere.  Maybe I'll give it another whack.

Nothing intentional, but I think Cuddlefish writes better than Dimo, IMO. dimo's too human, Cuddlefish exists to say and do what dimo couldn't. Fuck me running, I'm about to make a pokemon analogy, here: It's like one day I got a message in my mind that said "look! dimo is evolving!" and a couple of flashy lights later it said: "dimo evolved into Cuddlefish." And I got a bunch of stat points and some cool new moves.
