Just so you know, I think I'm actually going to stop posting there because

a) the actual nature of this subject makes me feel more than a little sick, and I believe the above cases make my point, and
b) if I don't stop, I'm going to sound more paranoid than the conspiracy theorists I usually rail against.

All I'm going to say is, now and again, a story comes up in the legitimate press which suggests both of these activities are far more widespread, and organised, than previously believed.  There was a network in Russia, uncovered in 2000, which was moving illegal porn (including child porn and snuff porn) into Italy.  The Italian police, who you must understand are hardly the most motivated of forces in the world, ended up with a suspect list of 110,000 people who they felt were trafficking or recieving this material.

In the Son of Sam killings, the description of the killer varied widely.  Massively, in fact.  The weapon in all attacks was a .44 Bulldog.  But police could not confirm it was the same .44 Bulldog.  That is a fairly rare gun, also, yet several people closely involved in the case (most of whom later turned up dead) were in possession of such guns.  Berkowitz hinted several times that others were involved, but he could not be explicit as to who, because he apparently feared for his family.

There was a similar case in Florence, where a young stablehand was found guilty of a string of murders.  He was definitely at the scene of some of the crimes, but the evidence did not stack up.  And the killings did not stop once he was put in prison, either.

And so on and so forth.

The systemic ritual/sexual abuse of children is all too real.  It is difficult to believe that the people involved can be so highly placed, but the secrecy of some criminal/intelligence/occult communities readily lends support to the worst in human nature.  The movies are a lie, the good guys don't always win.  Even exposure of the crimes does not ensure just punishment.

I do not see a "black & white" world.  There are shades of gray.  However, it should be clear to most that eventually "gray" gets so dark it's indistinguishable from black.  Evil is real enough.

The WHOLE system is not full of monsters.  Not all people are blinded.  I try to take strength from the goodness I have seen in the world and that there are people who act to help the victims and shed light on a horrible truth.  I count those I have met as friends & allies no matter what they may believe.

"Allies"?  That implies you're doing something.

Or that he was abused, and therefore sees people who work to end abuse as allies. Look at how many people are on this board; just from a statistical perspective, there's no way I'm the only person here who was.

Hope it's enough to say that I've seen my share of abuse (my own had been plentiful, but not sexual).  I've helped people to deal with it.  What I am doing now is less directly active.  This does not mean I'm done with the helping.  When I have sufficient resources and my business interests have provided an appropriate platform I will do more.  I don't want to spill my guts all over here, but the world of secrets has opened to me (some) and I've been holding my gorge trying to find means to DO something about it. 

I am not there yet.  If patience, will, and Words prove sufficient I will get there.  My abuse experiences have only had one good effect.  I can tolerate the pain.

More important than me and mine are the councilors that work long hours for cheap, the ministers(any kind) that GET IT and are compelled, the simple random(?) saints that may keep a friend or stranger from the edge unknowingly, the journalists that risk life for the truth.  I've met many, heard of more.  They need better funding.  I need a smoke.
