I thought I had made a thread to deposit lulzy Boston stuff. I probably stupidly put it in AT, where it would be impossible to find.

Anyway, I did the follow the links thing starting with the Los Zetas thread and ended up coming upon this:

West Roxbury is my home neighborhood, and I remember these guys being in the news, like, 7 years ago. Mind you, Westie is a mostly middle class to upper-middle class neighborhood. The only thing that keeps Westie from being a suburb is the fact that it a part of Boston. So, picture a bunch of well to do white kids that go to some of the city's best schools and work at Shaw's and Roche Brothers (supermarkets).

Not only is it funny that they haven't changed their name to something that doesn't imply that they're made up of comatose homosexuals, but that they identified themselves as members to the cops.

I'm imagining it going something like this:

Cop: Okay kids, why are we back at this party that apparently is too tame for us to bust up.
Fruit: Fuck off pig, don't ya know who we ahh?
Cop: A bunch of bored white kids hopped up on soda?
Vegetable: Nah, kid, we'ah the Fruits and Vegetable Gang. You scayad?
Cop:  :lulz:

Now that would be a gang war!

Now granted the Fruits and Veggies have gotten up to some violence, probably out of boredom, cred, or because they "thought some kid was queeah" but even with that, it's hard to take them seriously. I mean, fuck, if they got their name from the fact that they work at supermarkets, why not adopt the name Beefs and Spuds or something? Or the Stockers? At least that would make a nice pun.

And, like I noted earlier, these are Westie kids which destroys any and all cred unless they wanted to try their hand at some sort of white collar or organized crime. Westie kids are like Southie kids, but with less fight and more money. Maybe that's the whole point, to compete with South Boston, which has the lamest and most misplaced neighborhood pride in the Greater Boston Area.
