Well, I certainly won't suggest that they aren't subject to incompetence.  And certainly they should be addressing their information systems to make sure they aren't raiding the wrong houses.  And I certainly hope they are making some kind of restitution to the families they've impacted with that incompetence. 

However, I think bouts of incompetence is different than malicious intent which I read quite often when it comes to the DEA.  They really do a lot of good work domestically such as the medicine disposal program I cited earlier.  That gets a shit ton of medicines out of peoples homes particularly the elderly who will often be targets for break-ins precisely because of the large stores of medicines they tend to have. 

That CIA/DEA drugs link looks like intentional maliciousness to me.

Oh, yes, I am totally trolling you and Nigel at this point.  Honestly, I never had any intent even when I started that original thread to have any meaningful debates or discussions with either of you.  Past threads have demonstrated how much of a productive effort that is.  I enjoy engaging with Rat and Babylon and Telarus and Net....while we have strong disagreements, we seem to be able to stick to substantive issues.  You guys clearly enjoy the thrill of the snark so I'm just helping you out with that endeavor.

The only difference I see is that Rat, Net, Telarus, et al seem to be willing to ignore your hypocrisy and outright idiocy in favor of keeping the tone of things civil. I can't speak for Nigel, but I see no need to reward someone who is clearly hell-bent on ignoring the rules of intellectual debate in favor of advancing their agenda with any sort of civil treatment.

Actually, that's not entirely true. For the past couple of years, I've made a remarkable effort to treat you differently than I would treat DK, IANAR, Number 6, etc. But since there is, in fact, no meaningful difference between debating with you and debating with them, I can't see the sense in continuing to give you the benefit of the doubt.
