Yes, sometimes it IS personal with Nigel.  I just don't like her, and I've been doing my best to avoid her, but however smart and intelligent I may be, I'm still human.  In fact I have her on ignore and only see her posts when others are quoting her. 

But you have no problem talking about her.

But I really don't go out of my way to purposefully and subliminally poke at you.  I really don't. 

It's really simple.  I like to write, to relax.  It isn't very relaxing when you have what can be viewed as a heckler, especially when they quote "just skim your threads".  I will not tolerate being the butt of your "jokes", at least not without a little reciprocation.  I really can't make it any plainer than that.

Then your concerns are misplaced because you have not been the butt of any jokes and the "skimming" is solely in reference to the You People thread.  Par for the course you take that and generalize it to the larger whole. 

Now, I'm not going to say I read every word of every thread you start or every rant you write.  I don't.  I have a limited amount of free time at home and at work.  But I do read a lot of your stuff, because as I said, I think you are a great writer.  I don't always agree with what you write, and most of the time I keep that to myself, precisely because I don't want to piss you off and start drama.  But, that I don't read everything isn't a slight.  I'm a busy guy these days.

Due to the cumbersome nature of reading and posting on the phone on my lunch break im not going to get through the rest of this thread. However my two cents- trip is correct. If someone did something to a thread i wrote i would be miffed. Whether i voiced that would be dependent on my mood. That said i cant comment on rwhns motives but even in the event that he was meaning no harm he really ought to have known better. What ive read so far is pretty much what i epected the result to be. He should have expected it too.

What I expected was what I usually get with one of my pun/gag threads.  Silence or groans and eye-rolls.  Irrational knee-jerk responses are not my responsibility.  Am I still on a Discordian website?

I think it is offensive for an invented reason, yes.  See, people keep talking about the past, about the past.

But people are selectively forgetting the part of the past where I have routinely posted stupid puns, pun threads, visual pun threads.  I mean, hello, let's remember who we are talking to here. 

That part of the context is ALSO important to keep in mind.
