I love your music, Waffle.  I really like dark ambient-like music (not sure if there's a genre name for that or not? I'm not very music literate... ).  I've been meaning to ask you but forgot to because, ironically, I got distracted when I hunted down my family members and had them listen to A Broken Smile.  Do you have a target release date for the album?  And are you planning on making a CD available to buy or will it all be via download?

Thank you so much! :)

Release date will be Dec. 21st. Physical CD-r's will be made available on that date too, with up to two weeks of manufacturing before shipping, depending on how many'll buy it.
The digital version will be, as with the singles, pay as much as you want.
The CD-r will be fairly expensive because I build every cover by hand, cutting cardboard from pizza boxes and making collages for art work.

I am religiously opposed to paying for digital media, but I did give the sample a listen.  It was interesting.  I would download it for free and tell other people to buy it in the interest of helping out a fellow.

I'm actually planning on doing something similar-ish with my next record, along the lines of ethereal stuff on the concept of "The Out Realms" or whatever cthulian reference you want to call the space between the stars and whatnot.

I don't know who AKK is/was, but this is undoubtedly good news.

Was that really him?  Awesome.  I love how we all ignored and hijacked his riddle thread.

Nobody on earth wants to be known and noted as much as AKK. He's kind of like a little kid.

Album's first review is in!

Buy it. Really. It is, for want of a better word, breathtaking and precisely what I needed to get my (admittedly a bit twisted) Yule on. I would even go so far as to say this is his best album yet. Harsh, angular passages have given way to a more fluid and evocative auditory landscape, without losing an ounce of the impact one has come to expect from this most disturbing of musicians.

I give it six hundred and sixty-six and a half stars, and will ceremonially weld it to my car stereo.

If you don't go for deeply hypnotic, evocative and disturbing ambient music, buy it anyway. It's that good.
~ B. Eriksen

The album will be released on http://sermoiii.bandcamp.com during the Apocalypse on Friday. Singles are available now.
