TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

As I prepare for the sleep deprived pillaging of the entire length of this green and pleasant land, I feel like I could do with The Bong Injection.

Alas and alack, I have no syringes.

My history department just posted this gem on Facebook. It's a newsreel from the 50s of a mother throwing knives around her kids.

Can't people have a little FAMILY FUN in the back yard? And if each one of those people watching paid a nickel, a NINETEEN FIFTIES NICKEL, there's the rent right there! You want people to be on WELFARE or something?

Those little girls seem HAPPY. We TOUGHEN OUR KIDS UP. We had a proud tradition here of teaching kids to swim by throwing them in the river until some pencil necked yankees decided we had ALL THE WRONG VALUES. But just you wait till we SECEDE.

Knifethrowing, if the thrower practiced extensively (as it seems to be in this example), is quite safe.
Silly, but safe.
Besides, as you can see one of the knifes didn't stick in the wood and fell on the child. The child didn't even blink so the knifes are quite dull (and the wood must be quite soft, but that is a technicality).
Sure, if everybody just started doing it it would lead to some collateral damage, but that is statistics, not a symptom of inherently bad parenting.
