We're trying to be nicer right now to new people, because otherwise Nigel will put even more of her dicks up our asses, so this is me politely telling you that as a first post this looks similar to spammy things. Also, I don't know shit about guitars, but some other folks here do.

I had a Monster (?) amp I really liked, back when I had a guitar.  It was neat.

Solid state for me as well. I used to have a tube amp a long time ago. I get that tubes have better tone but they're inconsistent in that tone, and you have to replace the tubes because they use technology that's been obsolete for decades (to non-musicians: the tubes being referred to here are in fact the same vacuum tubes that computers used to use). I prefer reliable technology.

Aside from that, my main amp is a Marshall AVT 250. When I play bass I use someone else's amp. I also use their bass.
