on the chao

I came across this thought while munching my morning apple on the bus to uni. The holy chao holds the pentagon and the apple - symbos for chaos and order balanced out. the yin and yang of our postmodern taoism.

but behold - the apple holds the pentagon within its body - just like yin, the female principle can hold the yang within her if she is pregnant with a male baby. to put the analogy roughly. The apple itself is home to the law of the fives. the creative order within the symbol of creative chaos. chaos itself can be with order - like when a poet is writing his verses. he needs the caotic inspiration and the rules and rhythms to create his piece of work.

but the pentagon stands on its own - order and the law of the five - it does not behold an apple or even a pear!    not even a lemon or cherry to be found within the pentagon. bloomin¬•heck! is there some male-female symbolism creepin up at me again i thought - well yes - the world does consist of dualism - thins finding a balance - just like our chao shows us.

but the pentagon can be taken away, because the apple itself holds its own pentagon - but what would the world be with only singles and no couples to produce new ideas and sparks? so come the pentagon to accompany the apple. but always bare in mind that the apple itself is a holy chao in its own way.

Funny thing...

Five cored fruits such as apples and certain species of star fruit are actually very deadly...

And the chao if you look actually shows chaos and order turning endlessly into one another... they are both the same colour and only differentiated by symbols

I saw a woman wearing earrings one day and they were circles of amazonite set in copper and divided by an "S..." A yin-yang with no division whatsoever. The chao is representative of creation that is why there is no real dichotomy between chaos and order...
But then also if the chao can show us anything we wish to find where is destruction?
