TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Payne

I like it. Excellent gradiation of colour with a limited palette, and an interesting composition.

Triple Zero

how did you do the black inking? before or after the colouring?

as for critique: the transition between the head and the tentacles could have been a bit better, IMO. they don't seem really "attached" to me.

otherwise i agree with Payne, looks very nice!

i kinda just threw down some color in the shape-(ish) that i wanted and used a fine tipped marker for the detail after it dried. totally agree about the tentacles, can work on that.

Lies

Hey, I really like it, but then I'm a terrible critique.

Grats on a job well done.
- So the New World Order does not actually exist?
- Oh it exists, and how!
Ask the slaves whose labour built the White House;
Ask the slaves of today tied down to sweatshops and brothels to escape hunger;
Ask most women, second class citizens, in a pervasive rape culture;
Ask the non-human creatures who inhabit the planet:
whales, bears, frogs, tuna, bees, slaughtered farm animals;
Ask the natives of the Americas and Australia on whose land
you live today, on whose graves your factories, farms and neighbourhoods stand;
ask any of them this, ask them if the New World Order is true;
they'll tell you plainly: the New World Order... is you!

Frenzied Destruction

cthuhlu has sea weed for tentacles,apparently.
Im horrible at water colors,though.
and hey--world could always use more cthuhlu!

I agree on the joint between tentacles and head--it could be smoother.

But otherwise, it's seriously pretty awesome. 8)

Lol, the tentacles do look like seaweed  :lol:

Darth Cupcake

As an addendum, I just wanna say that the wings are fucking bad ass, as is the background. The effect you did on them is my favorite part.

faust

This is really nice. kinda reminds me of the king crimson album cover for some strange reason.
also best picture of cthulu I have seen in years.
bonus points for not depicting him having sex with something.

Good point.

Triple Zero

this is mine. from a few years ago. it's done in pen/marker and i blurred it with some strategically applied water here and there.

could also have been beer, maybe. because i may or may not have been sitting at a bar when i drew this.

and i know Cthulhu doesn't actually have laws like that, but he was also half-inspired by dr Zoidberg (as you can see)
