it's the unicode character for switching text direction from LTR to RTL.

if you look at the html source, you can see that the characters are in fact in the normal order.

i read about it before, but here the symbol looks like a little explosion/sun kind of thingy, i always thought it was an invisible character. but, as with anything in unicode, there's probably more than one of these symbols.
