Citation not possible, I'll try to explain though.

Both the internet and order have a similar aspect in that they only exist in a meaningful form because people pay attention to them.  If nobody follows the rules, the laws are nothing but paper and ink, if nobody posts things to the internet, or reads what's on it, it becomes nothing but a lot of glass and silicon and math.  In both cases, you cannot truly ignore it completely, short of hermitude or creating your own isolated society, because the society thrusts it upon you.  (Less so with the internet, though it's still there).

Am I misunderstanding what you mean by causality?  I don't see why you brought it up, or what you mean by 'without causality'.

sounds like he misunderstood what is meant by Aneristic?

otherwise i dunno.

i think aneristic is the ordered part of the window through wich you percieve reality.[i know its not neccesarily related to Reality but i wouldn't know how to look outside without a window.]
logic is a subgroup of order.
causality can not exist without logic.
i do not know how to think without the concept of causality (explanation of causality: the idea that percieved things can be caused by other perceived things.(sort of))

i tend to skip thoughtsteps so sue me :P

and i see i have to practice using interpunction n'stuff.

hmmm don't think i clarified anything but fuck it.

Causality can exist without logic. It just looks a little different.
And logic is useless without causality.
So I'd say logic is a subset of causality,
causality is a subset of order,
and order is a subset of reality.
Or whatever.

Logic, at least in the academic sense, has little to do with causality (except maybe for If A then B statements.

The first problem that I have with causality as the only way to look at the world, exists in the tendency to see it in a simple cause/effect. This seems like a false order, useful sometimes, but not Really Real. For example:

Simple Causality - "Because I ran a red light, I was hit by another car. "
However, this is only true in some sense. It stops, it forms a conclusion simply because it sounds causal.
More Complex Causality - "Because the sun was in my eyes, I ran a red light and I was hit by another car. "
A bit better (and it should start to display the point I'm trying to make), but it can go further:
Yet More Complex Causality - "Because I stayed awake to catch the rerun of the Colbert Report, I woke up late. Because I woke up late I was in a hurry and forgot my sunglasses. Because I forgot my sunglasses, the sun was in my eyes. Because the sun was in my eyes, I ran a red light and I was hit by another car. "

Causality makes the error of aneristic order, in that if finds a cuase and an effect, yet Reality seems much more like a causal feedback loop, where causes cause effects which in turn act as causes for other effects...

Causality, thus might be seen as a model that can usefully model some things, but its not necessarily how 'reality' works.

It may also be possible that things aren't causal, and we simply interpret the data in a way that makes it appear causal.

It has long appeared to me that logic and causality are about narrative. They seem to be entirely devoted to making events fit into the format of a story.

I try to avoid thinking in linear causality. everything is webbed, even your feet.
If you think you fully understand the causality of a situation you are missing alot {insert witty quote about the butterfly effect}

linear dynamics only exist in this strange fantasy world they call math.
