Ta muchly, downloading now.  I'll hopefully have most of this done by tomorrow night.

Iason Ouabache

Decided to go ahead and upload my soundtrack.  Put it in 2 volumes for easier listening.  I was going to make covers, but then I remembered that I suck at photoshop.

Well, I was going to try and make it as much MP3 format as possible, but if its ony a couple of tracks....I can likely convert them anyway.  Thanks again.

fuck yeah.

also, all or most of Big Black's "Songs About Fucking" should be included.

Some yahoo yelled at me, saying 'GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH', and I thought, "I'm feeling generous today.  Why not BOTH?"

Bleak social satire, FTW.

Big Black's Hammer Party, also.

easiest way to do so is: put them all in your winamp playlist, set preferences>output to "nullsoft diskwriter plugin" (default plugin, comes with winamp) and press play. it'll write all the oggs to .WAV files in a directory you specify.

then you can convert those to mp3 with your favourite mp3 encoder (i use LAME + RazorLame GUI).

if you find a simple ogg2mp3 transcoder tool, i'd love to hear about it, because this is only slightly less cumbersome than it sounds.

http://www.zamzar.com/ is probably able to do it.

Admittedly, you need to be online to use it, but still...

maybe i'm too late, and too n00b to be taken seriously, but wtf? no primus?

Primus - "to defy the laws of tradition" in my opinion needs to be included

and, Primus - Hellbound 17 1/2 has, i think, pretty appropo lyrics:

"questions deserve answers,
answers deserve action.
what am i of the populi?
i am but a fraction.
is there a heaven? is there a hell?
is that a tuna melt i smell?
come on . . ."
"a real smart feller, he felt smart"

Cain

Its not too late.  I've been very busy over the last few weeks (well, I went on holiday, and didn't feel like working, then came back and worked flat out for a week, day and night), but I am still working on this.  Haven't got all the tracks yet, but I'm certainly working on it, and your suggestion is welcome.

Yep.

Note: From time to time I will be referring to myself as "the Buckethead of PD."
This space for rent.

Actually rong, could you upload for me a copy of Laws of Tradition?  The only online versions I could find sucked balls.

Try mihd.net or mediafire for upload sites.

Cain

Apart from that, I think I've got every track I intend to finally put in the download.  Not every track that was suggested was included (I couldn't even find some) but I think at least one suggestion from every person who posted is in there.

So now, I'm going to organize the layout of the soundtrack.  Its going to be in several parts, naturally, made of Volumes and CDs.  Probably 3 CDs to a Volume.  Each will have its own artwork and will be coded so that they show up as that album name, making it easier to organize on your computer and iPods.

But now, I'm going to take a break...
