I don't often see anything desirable about focusing my energy in that direction. 

When I listen to guys like Rush Limbaugh, it reminds me of the bully in grade school that picked on all the "inferior" "weak" children, because his daddy picked on him.

I might understand, in many cases, that the menu is not the meal, but that just hasn't given me a reason to view those eating the menu as weak, and deserving of hatred.  Like I mentioned earlier... I live and work amongst people like that everyday, and many of them are terrific people.   They still have meaning in their lives, aside from the fact that they may as well be worshipping a doorknob.  They love their children and think of others and so on.

But I also see that a diehard asshole sometimes NEEDS a kick in the head, and I can understand the enjoyment of being the one to do it.

I wasn't suggesting anything beyond the idea of what you had said when I made that reference... that is to say, I wasn't saying you were an evil shitbag who spews cold-hearted hateshit at every n00b he see's...
