TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

I haven't had a chance to sit down and read a lot of the more serious tuff lately, but am now ready . . . can anyone give me some advice on what some of the better threads are at the moment?

Instead of trying to catch up on all the threads, just read the first post in the first one, the second post in the second one, the third post in the third one, and so on.

It will make for much more interesting reading, albeit logistically difficult planning.

and then in the first post you read, only read the first word
and then in the second post, only the second word...

AFK

We've had lots of good threads going in this sub-forum (aside from the 4 or 5 that AKK started).  It's only 7 pages long, why not read them all.   :D  j/k

I'd say anything started by LHX is going to be a good read.  I say that mostly because I'm feeling nostalgic and have really missed his presence here on these boards.  We'd get into some real good riffing on some of these ideas with him.

There was also the thread in response to Laz's view of the BIP which was interesting, to see how someone outside the group views the ideas, and how we in turn, respond to those views.

I dunno, there's been so much good stuff in this subforum, and I think we've done a good job to keep it fairly clean from the usual threadjack and threaddrift found in the others.    If I think of any others I'll let you know.

Clearly it has good advice for those wishing to join the community in the future as well.
