Chasing some of last nights stoned musings round the interweb, I stumbled upon this exercept from a seminar which I found to be a rather fun read. Just thought I'd share the wealth.

It's by a chap called John Waterworth, and its called; "The Three Layers of Presence: Making Sense of the Sense of Presence, in the World and in Media"

It's been two years since I have read The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind, sited in the references, but really the article feels very much like reading a snippet from Simulacra Simulacrum.
