TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

I got the audiobook and it's crackin me up.  I've never read it before and so far it's been shits and giggles all the way. It really isn't that bad--i forget why some of you said you didn't care for the book.  I just have to admit that Ken Campbell & Chris Fairbank voices are killin me.     Campbell sounds like Dudley Moore on bad Whiskey.   :lulz:

Actually, I3 as an audio book would probably work pretty well.

I love Illuminatus.  And it's nice to hear Hagbard's name pronounced.

I enjoyed the audiobooks too...

It's a trip to listen to I3 on the iPod while pretending to work at the office.

personally, I loved Illuminatus through and through. How long is the audio book?

Telarus

Sweet, I've been waiting for some-one to review the audio book.

The whole thing is about 35 hours and unabridged.  the speakers end up crackin each other up and that breaking of the fourth wall tends to fit rather well into the whole thing too.

Elder Iptuous

as in you bought it, or it's available for DL somewheres?

Triple Zero

wow, so that's about $85 in total for the entire trilogy?

i'm sure you could probably find somewhere it if you looked hard enough.

We have a place where you can just BUY audiobooks (as in nothing else, so largish selection and can order from there), so I think I'll either buy it there or check it out from the library if they have it.  We have a long trip out to go visit my dad before New Years (about 7 hours in the car there, same back), and this sort of thing is always good to keep us from getting bored.

Does torrent work for Macs?  I've never been able to figure out how to use it... but I am very computer retarded.
