Funny story, it didn't have drivers for my ethernet, so I couldn't get on the internet to download the drivers, so I had to boot up a USB version of Ubuntu I had made just a few weeks ago, and download from that.

Also, It wouldn't install with a USB keyboard, so I had to use an old PS2 keyboard. Thankfully, I'm a packrat.

Recently got invited to the BumpTop closed beta. Very shiny indeed. Every icon on the desktop is physics enabled, meaning you can drag them around, fling icons into the recycling bin to delete, spread them all out, have all your icons on your desktop organised into piles. Very intuitive, very shiny.

I assume you can also put textures on the walls, or make them transparent? cause the way it's right now it doesn't really work with the galaxy image you have.

looks kinda claustrophobic, I'd at least make the top wall and one of the left or right walls transparent, to open up the space somewhat. Then, a tiling image of a big dark wooden floor, and on top of it, a semi-transparent pic of a nice rug, it really ties the room together, you know?
