I just don't understand any kind of absolute egalitarianism philosophy. Whether it's branded as anarcho-capitalism or straight anarchism or sockfucking libertarianism, it always misses the same point.

Oh yeah, I remember reading this a long time ago.

Fairly simple ruleset, I thought.  Someone should make one that is at least on a par with D&D 3.5, if not more complicated.

So my first campaign in this system involved a true story. It was related to me by a lawyer friend of mine. He was hired on as the Chief Privacy Officer for our company so we worked quite closely together. I never really mentioned Discordianism, but often has philosophical discussions.

Anyway, he told me about an experience he had at a conference where he spoke on internet privacy.

Apparently he was speaking at this conference and afterward two guys came up to him, said they were very impressed and would like to take him to dinner. They introduced themselves as "Bob" and "E.B" whcih the guy claimed meant "Elvis' Brother". They took him out to eat and told him they were planning a major international software project and wanted a smart legal expert... They slid a piece of paper across the table with a $ and some numbers. My friend said "Oh, I'd like to learn more!"

He was set up with an plane trip and landed in Arizona. He had been told to take a cab to X location and they would meet him there.

He took the cab there and ... no one was home. He tried the door, no luck. The taxi driver had left and he was stuck for the moment. So he calls his contact who says "Oh there was a mixup! The spare key is located *****, just let yourself in and we'll be there shortly." He goes to location***** and starts digging around looking for the key. Then he hears a car pull up... a car with lights and a stern cop. The cop is very interested in why this random guy is messing around a house where no one is home.

My friend got to sit in the backseat of the car and just in time, someone pulls up, tells the cop that its OK and lets my friend in... then says "Bob and EB will be here soon", then leaves.

My friend walked into a completely empty house. Well almost completely empty. There were plans for various guns laying on the counter in the kitchen, with words written in Russian. The entire rest of the house had nothing.

My friend waited about an hour and since Bob and EB hadn't shown up yet, he called a cab, went back to the airport and booked a flight home.

Of course, in my game, things got much more interesting.

I have often wondered if "Bob" and "EB" weren't a couple Sub-geniuses fucking with a Pink.
