It occurs to me, even though she made of pure malice and fucked up philosophy, Ayn Rand might deserve better than this.

She was a stone-cold sociopath, and her fucked up political thinking perfectly meshes with a party that practices top-down class warfare, social darwinism and executive rule by terror.

Her response was in regards to his quote "What is good for me is right", not in relation to his actions.  Though, she probably was, by definition, a sociopath nonetheless.

I find her amusing, and think parts of her philosophy are valid, but taken as a whole its rather ludicrous.

TBH, after what I read, I could kind of insinuate what was going to happen.  I mean, there was Reardon and all the laws that were being made in the issue of fairness, then there was that spaniard guy, who I thought was a bit hagbard-ish, what with the mystery and the money, I almost figured he was going to be at the center of it all, like a big joke or something.  Then it got to the part with the train and I just couldnt really keep going.  It just seemed to me to be an indictment of socialism.  Pretty common for the time, right?
