To go to bed i switch my upper layer to pj's, and i use cotton bed sheets, 3 comforters, and turn on the electrical heater to max.

And i still get cold.

I spent the first few weeks in December like that.  I gave up and set up an old electric blanket during the single digit week we had though.  I found the best way to keep warm long enough to fall asleep is to know that the Hell toward which I careen with each passing day will be well heated.  Unless the bastard Vikings were correct.

Im not sure if we still rank #1 on polluted cities or not, but fuck are we trying.

Its a valley between mountains; the mountains are at its highest about 5.4kms above sea level, while the valley is 2.5kms above sea level (at least).

Empirically speaking, i had to sleep with all windows open, and door, naked, to make it even possible to sleep in summer.

Pretending that "seasons" still exist, because what tends to be is that, it gets cold as fuck between 6pm-8am and very hot between 11am-4pm.

Blame geography, world warming or pollution, idk.
