Yes, GS, I can think for myself.

NONONO

No, GS, I don't buy the 'boogeyman' bullshit like you do. Our government concealed Japan's request for a cease fire, SOLEY to test the bomb, while we firedropped the shit out of civilian cities like Dresden. Do you just watch the history channel for all your info (again, your mastery of lock-step) or do you ever walk out on your own to research things. Oh My God, a world leader had ANY, AT ALL insight into what was going on? Yes, GS, I can look back on historical facts and make informed decisions ON MY OWN. I can also make similar comments on shit like THE MOVE & WACO, because I studied them and I'm not swayed by fear mongers/ empty heads like yourself. Go excavate a dig and crawl under it.

Israel is an epicenter for the 3 largest religions in the world. It's a theological treasure trove of intense history and knowledge. Outside of the strife created by HUMANS practicing said religions, I'd say that is all pretty good to me.

Right, General Stuart IS a really real anthropologist with a really real degree, what's your credentials? Because I'm curious to know.

I've seen the degree diploma. I've seen his textbooks, I've seen papers and articles that he's written. He's done considerable amount of research on firearms and weapons of mass destruction and the effect of weaponry on human behavior and has documentation to PROVE it. I'm sure after he's done laughing himself to sleep tonight he'll be happy to come online tomorrow and share some of his knowledge with you.  So be careful with what you assume.

Also, you're sounding like the fool I got into an argument with on another forum who claimed that the works of Fomenko were truth and that all other history textbooks were just fabricated lies by the Catholic Church. I hope you're not that asshole.

Have you been to Israel? Pics or it didn't happen? Where are you drawing your conclusions from? Why do you feel the way you do about Israel  other than digging yourself into a deeper anti-Semitic hole?

Um, Judaism isn't in the top 3, by some counts its not even in the top ten.

Yes. But ask any ordinary individual to name 3 religions. Changes are 9 times out of 10 the answers are going to Christianity, Judaism and Islam. I'm sure by numbers of practitioners Hindu and Buddhism are off the charts, but for argument's sake of someone who won't look at said charts, they would probably say Judaism before Hinduism.

I supposed I should have said, "3 of the largest" or "3 of the more well-known" instead. Apologies.

Funnily enough, I was just reading about the Huk rebellion in the Phillipines.  Did you know CIA paramilitaries used to kidnap the Huks, then kill them, put two puncture marks in their necks and drain them of blood, then hang them from trees near Huk controlled villages, because of the fear of vampires in the Phillipines?

Apparently the CIA has vast amounts of literature on how to manipulate supernatural fears in third world countries.  Not surprising, often disturbing, but very interesting.
Ooh... has any of that been declassified or leaked? I would love to read some of that.

I'm pretty sure some of them are declassified and can be obtained via FOIA requests.

Maybe he suggests that you go into the tunnels of Ephesus.

I thought GS was an archaeologist? Anyway, I'm not sure what that has to do with the formation of a nation-state that was created as a tool for political manipulation.

Although I realize that the invocation of the magic word "Hitler" automatically makes absolutely anyone a Jew-hating anti-semite, regardless of context or historical reference, there is really no reasonable way to deny that Israel has been an absolute fucking disaster.

And, clearly, ever even slightly suggesting that the sheer scale of horror of German treatment of Jews (among others) during WWII fails to justify the continuing horrors perpetrated by other nations, including the US, is the rock-solid earmark of a Nazi sympathizer.

Wait, I think TGRR even made that point. Yet neither you nor Stewy have jumped on his shit and accused him of being a neo-Nazi Holocaust denier. Miss "3 largest religions".

I gave this quite a bit of thought yesterday, because I felt that knee-jerk reaction and felt it deserved more than the emotional trigger.

One time, at a young age, I commented that Hitler was a genius. I was lambasted and reprimanded by an adult, a TA, and feltt it was undeserved and that his reaction was childish.

I was told:" Anyone who murders over 6 million people is not a genius."

At the time I thought: "Well, it's not like it's easy to do that." Takes a certain level of mental prowess to do something like that regardless of whether it's evil or not.

Only 6 million?  So the three million political dissidents Russians and Gypsies that died at the camps don't count now?

*knows you probably didn't mean it that way, but gets pissy about people forgetting all the others that got caught up in that regardless.
