I think that part of the problem is when we started posting topics of serious content and such in Apple Talk we took it from the bullshitting around section to something more and now it's irritating as hell that the bullshit which has always been in Apple Talk just doesn't reach the standards we now want.

And while I don't really think those topics, Spiders, City and so forth belong in "Or Kill Me" they are a level (or quite a few) above the normal Apple Talk stuff.  So, a question is, do we create yet another section?  Or accept the good with the bad?

I was thinking that, but it would require that I take some responsibility for this whole mess, so I waited til the feeling passed.

I suppose I could move the letters, if everyone thinks that would help.

Even if only to separate them from the chatter in Apple Talk.

Personally, I think OKM fits them very well. In fact, I wonder why Khara thinks they don't?

I guess because I've always been a bit leery of posting in OKM.  I mean I have put a couple of rants there, but the standard of work in OKM is some serious stuff and while I think the letters in AT are serious, they have a different kind of resonance to them.

It's a bit atheist spaggy (unsurprisingly), but Dawkin's forum had a reputation for having some very intelligent people on it, and great community atmosphere.  IOW, a non-dysfunctional internet forum!  Been a while since we saw one of those.  Also, you can only get perma-banned for sockpuppetry and spamming (and presumably posting anything illegal).
