TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Man, they certainly don't have raves like that where I'm from (well, as far as I know anyway).

No shit, I will move to where this shit goes down. Though, I would probably have to bring a box of ear plugs, because thge music, undoubtably, will suck.

You may need a time machine, from what I have heard the rave scene is not what it used to be.

I went to raves when I was a kid and I saw girls dressed up like the one in the gas mask all the time, some other crazy getups too. The music was generally pretty good too, pretty diverse at the big ones. This was about 10 years ago though.

Stuff that elaborate wasn't as common, you'd have maybe a handful of people doing really crazy stuff at the huge raves in really big cities. You would probably see stuff like that maybe during Mardi Gras or Burning Man.

Dimo, those pics seem to be from Ultra Music Festival: http://www.ultramusicfestival.com/

Right, but I'm more interested in the scene itselfand where it might be strong/active. Plus, with tickets ranging from 90-300 bucks, I wouldn't be going there any time soon.

Fuck, let's be honest. I just want to know where women like that hang out.

Well, it's apparently strong in Florida.

Have fun with that.

Anyway, the reason I posted the link was because I thought you might be able to use it as a starting point for finding out more info about that scene. Like, googling "UMF forum" and stuff like that.
