Yeah. I think they are stuck up on Federal Hill. The Woonasquatucket goes around it into Downcity. I have yet to see if the water has gotten over the river walls downtown but I'm sure it's not pretty.

When I first saw Providence, I was like, "Wow, this place is a category 5's wet dream."

If it floods this bad just from supersaturation, then a direct hit from a Katrina-size storm would just wipe us clean off the map.

It doesn't do this severely often enough for us to warrant it. They also don't understand flood insurance up here, and when my parents went to buy it for when they moved up here, they got laughed at.
