It was.  Didn't last long, though.

Next batch, I plan to use beer instead of water, and I'm making a LOT more dough.

This.  Dough stores well, no reason not to save yourself the time by making it in large batches.

Note:  Cast iron pans are the bomb.

I have never burnt a pizza in one so far (4 for 4, woot) and the bottom of the crust is always, without exception, perfectly golden.

I want a 20" cast iron skillet now.

It is a very simple recipe, the dough.  Only thing I did that was counter to the instructions was to set the dough next to my space heater for an hour so that it may rise.

...I have found that certain recipes assume "room temperature" is a balmy 70F or so.

I feels ya dawg.  I think I'm at like 20' if that above sea level ma DAMNED self...not to mention we live in fucking CLOUDS most of the year.
