One of my favorite people ever is from Missoula! I hope he is celebrating by going home and being a big gay cowboy.

I used to conceive of Montana as primarily ass-backward hicks named Jeb and Darlene like most of Texas.

But since I made some advertisements for a bunch of businesses in Billings and Helena I realized how completely off base I was. Yes, they suffer from a whitebread monoculture, but a surprising number of progressives live there.

I see I can add Missoula to the list of Montana cities that are cool beans.
