But I think moving away from original state alone doesn't imply something becoming arranged chaotically.  It's just a different state of order.  Kind of like changing states of matter.  You melt an ice cube in a glass.  There is still order, just order in a different form.
Cynicism is a blank check for failure.

So where is the balance of disorder?

Huh, where did I speak in pun?  Anyway, I felt like it was time for a change.  I realized I'm in a different head space now compared to when I started out here.  So the name change is symbolic of that.  But as with everything, it could always change back at some point.

your name.
well, i guess it isn't necessarily a pun...
i took the meaning to be 6 feet referring to your height.  6 feet of soul, as in you are a fully soulful individual from head to toes.  but then six feet of sole would refer to three sets of feet, or a handful of steps.
i don't know.
perhaps the ambiguity was enough to pin you even without a Certified Pun....

is the ambiguity intentional, or is there a specific interpretation that i'm missing in your new name?

If: Chaos = Order + Disorder

And if: Order and Disorder are Illusions

Then: You create your own balance of Order and Disorder, depending on how you perceive it.

Oh, right the name.  I was thinking literally about "speaking in pun".  I use this name on a couple other boards, most notably a political discussion board.  I used it here briefly awhile back but it seemed to disorienting for some people.  But, I'm just going with it now.  And yeah, it is a bit circuitous as a pun.  And yes, ftr, I am six feet but I don't have six feet.

I am going to look into this. As a sentinent state there is an ice cube. In the change there is disorder as it reorganizes itself, then again order as it stabalizes as water.

I don't know this for fact but I think it is worth using a few brain cells on.

If we're talking about CHAOS

as in CHAOS DISCORD CONFUSION BUREAUCRACY AFTERMATH

than we're talking about the original, unnameable, indescribable state that existed before order or disorder. It is FROM this chaos that order and disorder can be born.

In that case, I would argue that the M&Ms were in a chaotic state before you opened the bag

if we're talking about CHAOS in the sense of DISORDER, then you could be talking about nearly anything. I like the "smash the M&Ms" idea best, because it can't be reordered in the same way after that.
