Graciously, Dok returned a few borrowed books with the letter he sent me.  They were packed into the box with newspaper, which I perused as I was opening it.
Well, needless to say, the choice of paper was horrific.  Part of my brain pictures the man pouring over an unknown stock of recent newsprint for the most horrible stories, and gleefully buffering my tomes with them.  This was no coincidence, right?
