TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Since "Damn autocorrect" is one of my most often-typed phrases on my iPhone, I can't stop laughing at this: http://damnyouautocorrect.com
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

I just texted this idea to my husband yesterday after "doesn't need" turned into "downtown" in my text to him...

It's funny this thread surfaces.  This past weekend all of my friends were repeating "I'll thank a bitch!"

I didn't find out until Sunday that they were referring to an autocorrect where a friend sent "I'll shank a bitch!"

EoC, you are the bane of my existence.

EoC doesn't make creepy.

EoC makes creepy worse.

I was actually thinking the same thing.

Man, that autocorrect looks like a pain in the ass. And I thought T9 was bad.
Of course I chuckle every time i spell "care" or "case" and the first word that comes up is "barf"

"You want fried chicken for dinner?"
"Sure, I don't barf"

I was reading this the other day. The "poofarts" one almost ended me. :lulz:

The amazing thing about iPhone autocorrect is that in the original release and for the first year or so YOU COULDN'T TURN IT OFF.

And, until fairly recently, it wasn't adaptive. Seriously. It did not use a simple technology which has been around for over ten years.

If I didn't know better, I would think the Apple developers were trolling us.

Actually, I am pretty sure they are. Correcting "Touchpad" to "Grackle"? And turning almost every word it's plausible for into "poop"?

Yeah. They're trolling us.

Given until recently iphones used to turn into bricks if you used them in your left hand, I am fairly sure they are trolling everyone.

I have to say, it probably makes iPhones more fun to use than other phones.
