"You haven't seen ::Insert Title Here:: , OMG!"

Fuck off, all of you.  Yes, I live under a rock.  It's a very nice rock, thank you, and I keep it on my bookshelf so I can always see it. It is not my life's mission to consume ever film offering that comes out, or spend my time tracking down every single one someone though was worthwhile once.

I don't like the crowds at your theatres, and I don't like sitting down and having the experience rammed into my head all at once.  I hear enough stories each day as is.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

I still haven't seen

Godfather

so many things I should see

but when people go WTF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THAT MOVIE? YOU MUST WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY

I move it down to the bottom of my list

I guess I'm just contrary like that.

Which reminds me: I'm going to do my best never to see Avatar.  Fuck that guy.

save yourself an hour and watch Fern Gully. The visuals aren't as impressive but you do get Robin Williams playing a fruitbat. And it's the exact same fucking movie.

Same.  Titanic too.

Godfather
Firefly/Serenity

I'd give them both an honest recommendation, but I'm not gonna TELL you to go see them.   :lulz:

Yup, haven't seen any of those.

Still haven't seen any of the Iron Man movies either.  The comic book geek part of me sort of wants, the part of me who is annoyed by "I'm Tony Stark and I'm and alcoholic" doesn't want.

The last movie I saw was Solomon Kane.  Good action, fun swordfighting.  The redemption theme was beating a dead horse with other dead horse attatched to a lifting derrick and operated by a spastic schoolchild, and the character lost the stoic dour of Howard's character in favor of swaggering machismo.

If you want more Solomon Kane than the original writings, read Dan Abnett's "Eisenhorn" trilogy fro the WH40K fiction selection.  It's truer to the theme.

I know they're good AND that I would like them

it's just that I am amused when people melt down about it

havent seen it either

though honestly I wrote off the comic-book-movie genre because so many of those movies turn out to be horrible wrecks if you weren't already a die hard fan.

exceptions include Watchmen and Batman, but Batman barely even counts as a comic book anymore

Freeky

I gotta say, Iron Man is one of my favorites. Iron Man II is also good, but not quite as good. I never read the comic book, either.

Course, I have no quality judgement when it comes to movies, and I just think RD,JR was super hot in them.

I enjoy movies quite a bit, but I've shied away from talking about them even nearly as much as I used to.  Experiencing them is one thing, talking about experiencing is another.  Talking to a person with no interest in a movie is kind've like telling a person about your dream.

That said, I feel pretty much the same way as the OP about youtube videos.  Gems can be had, but it's really just not worth sifting through the other shit.

EoC doesn't make creepy.

EoC makes creepy worse.

My roommates watched that, said it was hilarious, and now they have to buy it.

I usually can't stand theaters.

3d gives me a headache... and I hate remakes.... and I don't drink pop.... and popcorn upsets my stomach... and I hate ppls cellphones going off... and I hate most teenagers

All my best movie experiences have been because the theater was practically empty. Those experiences have been almost perfect

I love theaters beacuse the screen is big, the sound is loud and it's dark. But I hate the people. I usually end up sitting in front of douchebags who can't keep their fucking mouth shut, I don't care what their age is.

Thurnez Isa

I like it when it's little kids, cause their parents start getting all embarrassed and angry and I can laugh at them.

BTW Serenity (the movie) didn't make much sense to me until I saw Firefly (the series)
