For my part, I've replaced optimism and believing the best of people by default with a grin and the absolute 100% certainty that if they cannot find a pig to fuck, they will buy some bacon and play oinking noises on YouTube.

I'm in favor of a merge.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

I don't mind a merge of the general TSA discussion, but my rant did have a specific point beyond the finer details of their policies, was directed at the reactions to the situation which I find...well you know.

I like it when I get a good OR KILL ME feeling in my gut.

I could also just merge the other two threads?

Or I merge all 3 and you could repost the rant as a new thread in OKM? Possible with a link back to the merged thread (in which the rant then also will appear). Although the OKM thread may not get much replies then.

It's your thread, your call.

Hey yeah you could tack the others on mine. I count my victory by replies so that works.

Or, merge them elsewhere and I'll repost my rant in OKM. Im not worried about people commenting on it in the future. I just want the rant in OKM however it's done.

I'd do that if it were possible, but as I said, when you merge a thread, all posts get sorted by time. And I believe at least one of the other two threads were started before your rant, so yours wouldn't be the first post. Also, because of the sorting, the discussion will be like a cut-up of three concurrent discussions.

You don't usually notice that's what happens, because 11/12 threads that get merged are the "UNLIMITED" threads for trolls (and 11/12 of them DESERVE IT )

Aren't we a fickle lot? TSA abuse forgotten in the face of Wikileaks. What is the next shiny thing to come along to divert us?
