TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Alrighty spags.  Here's the low down.  My agency is doing this Open House deal tonight.  It will start in a few.  People get to come in and mingle with staff and check out all of the awesome stuff we do.  So I gotta schmooze and mingle with local VIPs and such.

But here is the burning question.  Puns or no puns?  Should I just play it straight, be Mr. Egghead Professional, or should I add a little dash of Groucho to my routine?  What do you think Spags?

Make puns, don't point them out.  If they get it, all the better.

EoC doesn't make creepy.

EoC makes creepy worse.

What are Puns?  Do they vote?  Can you spend them on hookers?

Awful. No. Yes.

Triple Zero

If you need puns to not be a dry mr Egghead Professional, make puns. If you can be all warm and socializing and still professional without puns, then, uh, maybe make puns. I mean, if you get an opening for a really good one, you wouldn't want to let it go to waste anyhow.

I went half and half.  My pun on the beet brownies was the hit of the party.

Which just goes to show how lame the party was.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

Did you say beet brownies?

BEET BROWNIES???  :?
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

AFK

Can't beet 'em.

Apparently it's an old recipe from Frank Zappa.  He called them the Break Beet Brownies.

I know, crazy.
