News:

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

The guy on the left must be a Days of the New fan.  You know how I know?  He's unplugged.

Heh, get it?  Unplugged, Days of the New, eh, someone shoot me.

I can't see the pic, but it'd be certain if he was siting on the shelf in the room.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

I suppose he could be an Apocalyptica fan, though it seems they've incorporated electric guitars as of late.
Cynicism is a blank check for failure.

We live in a blameless society.
We live in a society full of blame.

There is so much in my life that just went wrong.
The wrong in my life was brought upon me by you.

I don't know how it is I ended up where I am.
"They" are the ones who left me stranded in this hell.

I did everything I was supposed to.
I just did what "they" told me.

Why is all of this happening to me?
Why is the world out to get me?

There's nothing I can do to change this.
They'll just fuck me in the end anyway.

I think I'll go kill myself now.
This is all their fault.

Goodbye cruel world!
You won't be able to hurt me anymore.

Very good.

Arbitrary Personal Thoughts:
I like how if you just read most of the first lines, this could describe the sentiments of quite a few great people, and it's much easier to empathize with; Hunter S Thompson and Kurt Cobain come to mind (assuming he killed himself).  Kind of changes the sad-pathetic to sad-completely-understandable.

Sad-pathetic is better for lulz.
