When i first saw this book I dubbed it "Chicken Soup for the New-Age Soul". Which turned out to be not so funny when I saw that Jack Canfield, the created and editor of the chicken soup series turned out to be a large contributer.

These concepts, they can be found through a wide range of new age books. Someone was just clever enough to put in a nice, easily swallowed, user-friendly form. Worst thing since ugh, can't remember the name of that movie...
Had to do with Quantums...What The Bleep Do We Know. God how I hate that fucking movie.

That movie pisses me off more than anything cos it has a truly amazing sequence at a wedding with animated neuroreceptors that totally illustrates how the brain works, immediately followed by some hippy bullshit about channelling gaia to make water happy.

The author can't possibly actually believe it, because otherwise the book wouldn't have been written. You're supposed to just sit back and let the universe do it, not actually do it yourself.
