NERO International (http://nerolarp.com) is the largest Live Action Role Playing Game (LARP) in the United States. It has over 40 chapters in the United States and Canada. I worked for the owner, Joe Valenti, on a voluntary basis from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, I was employed full time by NERO as a regional coordinator, lead writer, and project manager.

Though much of my time was spent promoting NERO at gaming conventions, or directing weekend long NERO events, I also worked on many of the company's creative endeavors. I was a staff writer for LARP Magazine (http://www.larpmag.com), and worked at the 2006 LARP Awards (http://www.larpies.com) in Hollywood, California. At the LARPies, a most unusual award show, a cavalcade of miscellaneous celebrities presented trophies to LARP players from all over the country. Jose Conseco, unfortunately, refused to sign my sword.
