Ideas for the third draft: I'd love to hear what you think about these ideas:
- status effects?
- winded: only draw to hand size 2
- tripped: Must stand up before moving/attacking. Discard a card in order to stand up.
- instead of having attack cards, maybe ALL attacks can be power attacks if the right feature is in the room. Some power attacks inflict status effects instead of knockback 2. For example,
- Head Slam: Knock opponent back 1 room. If there is a countertop, table, or desk present, it is destroyed and your opponent is winded for his next turn.
- Body Slam: Knock opponent back 1 room. If there are shelves, book cases, or a light fixture present, it is destroyed and your opponent is knocked prone.
- add features that players can place before game, ie items,power attack features
- items? thoughts: an item a card that you don't discard when you use. Item is attached to a prop like a broom. To pick it up, you must discard a card. Each item has a trigger that makes you drop or discard it, such as being moved or using it to block. For example,
- Broom: When you play a block card, you may trip your opponent. When you do this, you must drop the broom.
- Snack: Consume the snack and draw 2 cards.
- Chair: Destroy chair to knock opponent prone.
