Because the AKK thread is too painful to do in one sitting, I'm limiting myself to 3 pages a day.

This thread inspired me to go back and read the AKK thread . . .

I made it to page 10.

You're a braver man than I, Mang. Good luck.
Everything I wish for myself, I wish for you also.

That reminds me - back to work! I've gotta harvest pages 7-10.

seems to me you intend that advice to be sarcastic for everyone but yourself

let's try again.

No, let's don't. See? It just wasn't worth it. If it wasn't worth it at page 7, it was never going to get better over the course of another 30 pages [sigh]

My intentions were to:

- meet some people see if any of them were friendly and identified with any place I was coming from.

Oh wow, did you get that wrong!

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

-see what I could contribute.

Well, you certainly [coughs] 'contributed'. Thanks for that.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

-collect data, whether it be entertainment or data from people with similar interests.  success here.

Anyone on PD.com with similar interests to AKK are likely to be tracked down by an angry mob.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

-Contribute something for my own ends.  working on that.  best to make friends first so it actually has some steam.

It's the poor judgement that just keeps on giving!

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

-Gain inspiration for my own projects.  success here so far.  This is a never ending crusade however, as I am always creating something.

Yes, and I'm always creating feces in my digestive tract. You don't hear me bragging about it, do you? (well other than just then...)

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

take what you like and leave the rest.

What happens if we hate everything? We've been known to do that.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

try to understand I'm not here to make enemies

Self explanatory.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

In reality it's hard to tell how much seething bile is...actual dislike....

Try: ALL OF IT.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

In this respect I'm maintaining optimism....

Well you gotta love an optimist....no...wait...no you don't.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

Besides even if you told me you hated me it wouldn't matter.

We did, it did and it should (matter, that is)

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

Further, I'm not here to cause damage

Don't flatter yourself.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:10:24 PM

I have a place where I work out my inner poisons and that's in my song writing for my main project.

Uh oh - he's a sensitive artiste:roll:

Please don't discredit this post and the last one by responding with subversive and subjective opinions, especially if they are negative (I can't help but feel I'm asking for too much here)

Oops, that ship has already sailed. And yes, you were asking too much.

BADGE OF HONOR

The Jerk On Bike rolled his eyes and tossed the waffle back over his shoulder--before it struck the ground, a stout, disconcertingly monkey-like dog sprang into the air and snatched it, and began to masticate it--literally--for the sound it made was like a homonculus squatting on the floor muttering "masticate masticate masticate".

Bump.   :aww:

Sorry Badge, I lost track of this project.

I'll get back to it soon. I don't have much of an excuse since it's much easier than NaWriNoMo.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Just let me know when you're done messing with the dark side of the force and when you're up for it we can have a laugh and do something productive.

We laughed (at you)
It was productive (for us)

Get over yourself mang, then maybe one day we can be civil and play nice, possibly even do something productive.

Why are you dragging Mang into this?

sorry, off hand refference to the ATHF hypno germ episode.  The mexican says mang instead of man.  I really really tried not to be humorous in that post, seems one slipped by.

Punish mang anyhow.  he needs it.
  :lulz:

Vengeance is mine, motherfucker.

And btw, you were not humurous*. You didn't have to try.

*At least, not in the way you thought. You were entirely humourous, but differently.

It is.

I've survived worse and come away with great friends and contacts.

No and no.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:48:00 PM

If after that people are still hating on me

Surprisingly perceptive.

Quote from: Ambassador KAOS on March 28, 2007, 02:48:00 PM

I'll.....go find some other place where people like me better.

BWA HA HA HAAAAAAA!!!!!!

The funny thing is, I missed a lot of the AKK drama. It blew up when I wasn't posting that much and it had already mushroomed into the festering syphilitic nightmare that it is today before I even knew it happened. (Same goes for the Lamanite fiasco.)

What's fun for me is reviewing the thread as an outsider, long after the fact and posting some snippy comments like a 2nd rate Perez Hilton.

Anyways, I committed to reviewing all 37 pages of this monstrosity and excise yet more choice quotes for the perusal of the PD.com faithful. I'm still considering the 'folklore archive' idea which is what made me bump this.
