Are we back to the part of the forum cycle where we shit all over RWHN's career?   :kingmeh:

No one ever takes shots at me because I work for an insurance company...

At least it's not a bank.

Yeah, that's for Squiddy to defend.

For a given value of "defend".  Last I heard, she's about 2 steps from going all Chainsaw Billy in there.

I don't think anyone is shitting on his career at all. Pretty sure we're all in agreement that kids shouldn't do drugs until they can make informed choices and their brains have developed enough to allay serious developmental damage.

We're shitting on his tendency to be evasive and his refusal to speak plainly or to give anything resembling a straight answer after he starts a thread that he goddamn well knows is going to bring about that sort of debate and questioning. And maybe on his insistence that adults should have their lives ruined over making a choice that harms nobody but themselves in the name of some ridiculous idea that infringing on our rights to do as we see fit with our own bodies is somehow good for the children. But nobody is shitting on his career.

Though I personally still have serious doubts as to whether he has the qualifications he says he does in that field.

That's just your day job. Your career is layabout playboy and professional musician.

Also, for the record, RWHN bumped this thread.

Indeed. Who knew that underneath that sober and studious exterior was a Grade-A master troll? :lulz:

He bumped this thread, because apparently he likes the attention.

I don't think anyone objects to his career, or in fact even his position on legalization, though they may disagree with it.

The problem people have with him is that his arguments are slippery, he continually moves the goalposts, evades answering questions, provides information that is erroneous or misleading, ignores parts of arguments that are inconvenient to him, and if someone corners him on any of this he decides that they are trying to "get him" and therefore he can just insult them and then ignore anything valid they ask or say.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

He can do whatever he wants for work and think whatever he wants about weed, and I don't care. I disagree with him on it, unless he's talking about something like heroin or meth, but it does seem like he is trying to get attention with it.

I mean, he's flounced over this sort of thing before, but then he starts a thread that he should know better than posting if he knows its going to work him up, and then he bumps another.

Maybe he does like arguing about drugs after all.

Awesomely, though, somewhere in there ECH and I got mind-lazers, which means that now, along with TGRR, we can control everyone's thoughts and opinions! Mwhahahaha!

I think you just have to wait until you have your chance to point out some obvious flaws in someone's argument, and then when other people agree with you someone will assign you your lasers.

But I think I've already done that. Maybe has something to do with time regged here?
