I really enjoyed reading Harry Potter.  The movies I could give or take.  I will say they're phenomenally well cast - where else do you get to see Gary Oldman facing off with Alan Rickman?

This entire fread make me want to fistfuck a pidgeon. 

Harry Potter is shite. There - I've said it. Read a grownup book FFS! Watch a grownup movie FFS! It's a fucking children's story.

I think thats an insult to good children's writing, to be honest.

Some of the best things I've read as an adult have been children's literature.  It took me about 5 minutes to call The Invention of Hugo Cabret one of my favorite books.

I am so going to see this over the weekend.
