A friend of mine was so into harry potter, that every morning he drew a bolt scar on his forehead and walked around like that the whole day. That continued a year. Then he(NOTE HE) found twilight :horrormirth:

In my perfect world, the words "Man the fuck up, honey.", were involved.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

I really enjoyed reading Harry Potter.  The movies I could give or take.  I will say they're phenomenally well cast - where else do you get to see Gary Oldman facing off with Alan Rickman?

This entire fread make me want to fistfuck a pidgeon.  :argh!:

Harry Potter is shite. There - I've said it. Read a grownup book FFS! Watch a grownup movie FFS! It's a fucking children's story. :x

I think thats an insult to good children's writing, to be honest.

Some of the best things I've read as an adult have been children's literature.  It took me about 5 minutes to call The Invention of Hugo Cabret one of my favorite books.

EoC doesn't make creepy.

EoC makes creepy worse.

Actually, I'd like to put on my cloak and wizard's hat.   :fap:
It's all fun and games, till someone gets herpes.

I wouldn't kill this guy.

In fact, I want to destroy most over-exuberant fans that dress up like fictional characters. I mean, really, who does that?

I am so going to see this over the weekend.

Cause it's fun. And goddamn, I spend 40 hours a week wanting to shoot myself in the head. I don't care how unimpressive or silly or whatever it is--I haven't got time to be too good for fun. :p

Then again, most things I do are stupid but I find them fun, so I am probably a bad barometer. :D
Be the trouble you want to see in the world.

Richter

Key distinction: you KNOW it's silly fun, and treat it accordingly.
