For the moment.  As soon as he decides how many wedding parties he wants to bomb in Afghanistan, he'll no doubt get around to demanding fifty bajillion troops from NATO. 

Besides, while its not his style to apply the pressure, that is what he has Clinton and Biden for, and they both fly much lower on the radar.  Obama is savvy enough to know a leader should be approacable and personable, while his second-in-commands should be belligerent thugs and psychopaths designed to put the fear of God into friend and enemy alike.

Bush never really understood "good cop, bad cop", which is why between him and Cheney it turned into "bad cop, Stasi officer".

President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday in a stunning decision designed to encourage his initiatives to reduce nuclear arms, ease tensions with the Muslim world and stress diplomacy and cooperation rather than unilateralism.

"I am both surprised and deeply humbled," Obama said from the White House Friday morning.

He understands the reason why it was awarded, so that's good. Let's hope he can leverage some of the international good will into results.

Hell, the guy who came up with the idea to give the prize in the first place got the money from a personal fortune amassed by creating deadly explosives.
