I've been too busy, I think.  Posting here too much, working too much, spending too much time with the Tucson Cabal...I think I need a break.  So I'm gonna break up the Cabal into 8-9 smaller groups, and bugger off for two weeks, over Christmas.

I am going back to my people, Nigel.  I am going to spend the season in South Tucson, among the scum, where you always know where you stand...and I'm walking in and walking out.  I will be armed, of course (mostly for appearances' sake), and I shall bring my laptop (I will post results approximately "whenever I feel like it", but I will not be using the Jeep, nor will I bring a cell phone.  It's on foot or by bus, and I know just where to start.

I have found a group of tapeworm fetishists.  These are people who intentionally infest themselves with a tapeworm...some (mostly the women) for "weight issues", others for a Geiger-esque "I HAS A BUG IN ME" freakishness that both horrifies and fascinates me.  Don't worry, I won't be partaking...I am not, after all, Aini.  It's just that I reached the bottom of the rabbit hole...and found another hole.  I'm willing to be that these freaks will lead me to weirder freaks, and so on.

How deep does the craziness go?  Just how fucking weird does this town get?  There's only one way to find out, I think, so I am tramping off into the wilderness in search of the bottom of the bottom (We already know where the top of the bottom is, don't we?), because it turns out that the freaks I have already describes are just the bottom of the top.

If I don't come back, send H.M. Stanley after me, with a bottle of Niclosamide and a bunch of porters armed with cricket bats.  Lots and lots of cricket bats.
